Me And My Life

23rd December 1997.
I still remember everything clearly. because that day was a total turnaround for me and my family. that day changed the whole way of our life, changed the view about the life, changed the view about people.. everything...in the morning i woke up because my mother came to my room crying and woke me up. she was like rupom call Biman operation and ask whats going on.. i was like what do you mean?she said your father had an accident , it is a plane crash.. i could not stay to listen more, got off from the bed and ran to my moms room to use the phone...called Biman Operation and told them "this is son of Capt. Mannan, what happened?" they are like boy we are all proud of your father he is a proud for our airlines. then i had to scold him to tell me the full story about what happend to my father. they said they do not know full yet. they will call me as soon as they get any new news.after an hour they called me back and said my dad is OK , it was a major crash in Sylhet, Bangladesh but because of my dad and allmighty Allah everyone was saved, nothing happened to anyone, the only people who were injured was my dad and the co pilot.
they said they will take us to Sylhet by helicopter if we want to..My mom, rusho, soma apa(cousin) and jahid bhai went to Sylhet, i stayed back in Dhaka because i had to take care of the house.well, he got back to dhaka holy cross hospital and so many people came to see him and told him he is the hero of the nation.. i was feeling proud because i am his son. My Dad saved so many people's life. Then another news came by an official letter that he was promoted to DC10. it was another great news for us.allthough, those were for short time. did not know that we are going towards a dark side of life.
after 2/3 days a letter came that Biman and flight aviation of Bangladesh combined a case to investigate the case. till then My father will not be able to operate any flight. the Chief investigator was from Airforce and he was a helicopter pilot. He came to the hospital to ask my dad few questions about the accident. When my dad told him that it caused becuase of airplane compressor failure, then the investigator asked him what is a compressor?it was funny that he was the chief investigator but he did not know what a compressor? because he was a helicopter pilot, not a Foccer pilot. then my dad said i can see something is going wrong.and we got to know what went wrong after a few days, that they found that it was my father's fault, and because of that his airlines license was revoked and he was suspended from Biman without any benefit. the reason was "failure to perform pilot's responsibility".. they did not mentioned what responsibility and why? when? how? nothing.
there was only 1 line.. in the cause..that thing changed our entire life... begining of a new life? how? i will write again...
